LORIS BERTOLACCI and GEELONG FOOTBALL CLUB

Geelong Football Club and Loris Bertolacci have agreed to resolve their differences.Geelong Football Club acknowledges the positive contribution of Loris Bertolacci to the development of the playing list and to the Club’s participation in the finals campaigns of 2004 and 2005.

There will be no further comment.

Statement of Service

Loris Bertolacci was employed by Geelong Football Club in the position of Head Fitness and Conditioning Coordinator from November 1998 to 20 April 2006. His duties in this role included to:

(a) develop, structure and implement individual and group Fitness Plans appropriate for the preparation of the players both in and out of season;

(b) oversee specialist fitness coaches and consultants and their programs (ie diet, sprint, boxing, etc)

(c) coordinate and implement the rehabilitation of injured players in consultation with the Club’s medical team and provide reports to the Match Committee;

(d) maintain accurate records of players in all areas of fitness related testing and performance;

(e) be responsible for the organisation and purchase of equipment for the gymnasium and other program related activities within the limitations of the budget;

(f) coordinate the organisation and running of training camps;

(g) in association with the Football Manager, help co-ordinate support staff for team training and game days;

(h) when required or directed by the Chief Executive or Football Manager, assist the Marketing department with any promotional or marketing opportunities; and

(i) other duties as required.
